Let's celebrate 50 Years of Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and SOCIAL ACTION!

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of the Kappa Upsilon Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. at Auburn University, we selected the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as the recipient of contributions in honor of fifty years of service by our members from 1974 to 2024 in Auburn, the state of Alabama, and beyond.

As a Public Service Sorority, with a focus on Sisterhood, Scholarship, Service, and Social Action, we are proud to support this outstanding organization in Montgomery, Alabama with over 50 years of service as a catalyst for racial justice in the South and beyond, working in partnership with communities to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements, and advance the human rights of all people.

Your donation will be used to support the mission and vital of SPLC and its areas of focus for litigation and advocacy, fighting hate and extremism, learning for justice, children's rights, immigrant justice, criminal justice reform, LGBTQ rights, economic justice, voting rights, and the civil rights memorial center.  The SPLC's free Learning for Justice resources are used by educators across the country. And its Civil Rights Memorial Center in Montgomery, Alabama, tells the story of a movement that continues to shape this country — a movement that is unfinished.

Thank you for your generous support of our 50th Anniversary Celebration as together we continue the strong legacy and leadership of our Founders and Charter members standing strong in Social Action and Social Justice. Your gift makes a big difference!
